One of the pros on this book is that Dr. Kimiko Sakurai shows us the super-specific secondary symptoms ADHD adults often face - lack of organizational skills, time mismanagement, fussy eating habits, frequent tardiness, impulsiveness, emotional management, shorter attention span(distraction), irregular life patterns, and so on. Those are the sort of problems which are likely to lead to total chaos. Unless we know the secondary symptoms of ADHD, we won't get things going next. Since we are chronically short of specialists on developmental impairments like her, I believe this book will encourage ADHD people to minimize their shortcomings in order to improve their quality of life.
Personally, I would like ADHD people to put the cognitive trainings in this book into action gradually. They don't need to do all of them at one time. They might be able to change if they do what they think suits them. They will have to cope with their ADHD for the rest of their lives because they have ADHD right from the beginning, like it or not. However, I'm sure they will be able to reduce the secondary symptoms to gain happiness!
